Let's have a Heart to Hart

"These are the times that try men's souls!" Politics. Just tell me what you want to do, how you think you might accomplish it, what it's going to cost. That's all. I can see what's wrong with the other guy myself. Talk about spitting in the wind - I just did it. They say you can't win an election without being mean. Looks like they're both gonna win, then!

But I have an escape! My drawing is a place to wander and completely lose contact with the clock. A wonderful way to soothe my soul. I finished a portrait of my beautiful Gracie, with her gold-silver hair blowing in the wind, her arms full of irises. If you want to meet her, she will be on display (with other examples of my portraits) at Wallach House in Eureka, MO. It's just west of the 109 exit, on the north outer road. It's a fun place to see for other reasons, too!
